Normally the family summer house in Särdal is a quiet retreat, although this visit found it full of people (and dogs and cats) getting ready for the wedding of Karl's cousin Hanna to her long-time sambo Håkan. (Wedding photos will be uploaded separately.)

The Dandenell matriarch, Ingrid Dandenell, was in residence, as usual, along with two of her daughters, two grandaughters, and various other friends and relations.

The cooler weather along the southwest coast was quite welcome, and we even got our share of rain. Despite all the wedding prep, we took a day for our traditional bike trip (36 km) into Halmstad to shop for akvavit, tea, and sweets (godis).
