After 3 days in the capital, we loaded our gear onto the much-appreciated Swedish train system and headed south toward Linköping, where we stayed with Anna-Karin, Andréas, and their three girls. We brought the warm weather with us, so we took advantage of a local swimming facility (simhall), and day outing to a local lake.

Later on, we moved west to Göteborg, and met up with another set of relations (Sofia, Daniel, Tove, and Ebba), who had arranged for the loan of friend's apartment for us. The whole mob then descended upon the big amusement park, Liseberg, home of the giant green rabbits. (No one knows why they are green, by the way.) The park had all the usual attractions, plus one of the strangest "Wild West" shows (done in English and Swedish) that we've ever seen.
